An ideal candidate is a self-starting leader who works well in a collaborative environment, is efficient and effective at providing medical care, and values patient centered care.\nRequired Qualifications\n\n Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree\n Current Florida medical license\n Completed an accredited residency program\n Current DEA certificate\n Board certified or board eligible in primary care\n Current BLS certification\n Spanish preferred\n\nResponsibilities\n\n Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages\n Manage acute and chronic conditions\n Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results\n Perform therapeutic procedures, manage wounds and injuries, and educate patients on their treatment plans\n Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload\n Participates in daily interdisciplinary huddles\n Assist in patient utilization review of services and quality improvement\n Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy\n\nAbout Provider Healthcare\nProvider Healthcare is a prominent healthcare recruitment firm that places highly qualified and skilled healthcare professionals in excellent employment opportunities across the country.
