Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive assessments of medical histories
• Assist in the analysis and diagnosis of surgical conditions through interpreting imaging and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide essential support during surgical procedures, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring accurate patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care that includes medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Prior completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly preferred

Certifications

• Hold a current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
