Data Consultant - Hybrid

Data Consultant Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Consultant for a hybrid position (minimum 3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC; Kennesaw, GA; Jersey City, NJ or Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role provides critical end-to-end production support for metric reporting routines. The reports and dashboards are shared with senior executives to drive proper risk culture and business strategy. The work includes data mining, data aggregation, business metrics, and performance analytics to identify areas of discrepancy and possible at-risk controls. Responsibilities: Provide end-to-end production support of metric reporting routines, dashboards, and executive summaries Perform data analytics, including trending analysis and success analytics, to identify discrepancies Conduct data mining, data aggregation, and business metrics analysis Ensure consistent, timely delivery of reporting requirements using existing macros and code Proactively identify, fix, and create macros/code as needed Capture, manipulate, and clean data from multiple sources and systems of record Apply a critical eye to catch errors or discrepancies in data and reports Collaborate with teams and effectively prioritize deliverables Requirements: 5+ years of advanced, expert Excel skills (including advanced functions, power queries, and macros/VBA) 5+ years of moderate-to-advanced SQL skills 7+ years of data mining experience 7+ years of analytics experience with the ability to dissect, distill, and simplify data Demonstrated ability to remain nimble and positive when priorities change Strong sense of urgency, significant attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills Experience working in a highly regulated industry or financial institution Previous experience creating dashboard reports or analytics for and interacting with senior-level managers Desired Skills: Prior experience in a similar role within a large financial services environment Pay range: $40.17 - $48.17 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
