Temporary Packaging TechnicianViridian Staffing's client is looking for temporary packaging technicians to help with packaging duties during a busy season for a cannabis company about 45 minutes southwest of the Newark, New Jersey, area. Hours start around 8 am, and work days are Monday - Friday. For workers who do a great job, there is the potential for this to turn into a permanent opportunity.As a packaging technician, you will help to measure cannabis products, package the product, and then label the product accordingly. You will also get to help collect samples and perform tests to ensure quality. You may perform a variety of other processing tasks as needed. While experience packaging cannabis is not required, you should have experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to closely follow standard operating procedures is required.
