Senior Infrastructure Engineer

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is a senior-level position responsible for the strategic planning, design, implementation, and support of complex IT infrastructure systems. This role requires extensive expertise in enterprise networking, storage, compute, and virtualization technologies. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for ensuring overall system performance, capacity planning, infrastructure availability, and business continuity. They are dedicated to staying up to date with new technology advancements and recommending ways to leverage these technologies for the benefit of the organization. They play a crucial role in identifying areas for improvement, problem resolution, and the education of support and operations personnel. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer also provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the infrastructure team.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate degree, or a bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical Experience: Five or more years of experience in an IT infrastructure environment, with a focus on complex enterprise technologies, such as advanced networking, firewall, virtualization, storage, load balancing, and backups.
• Certifications: Advanced certifications in networking, security, or storage are preferred.
• Other: Valid Driver's License required.
