Job Title: Medical Receptionist – Cardiology Practice (Full-Time)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• flexibility occasional past 5pm

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Medical Receptionist to join our busy cardiology practice. The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, and able to provide exceptional customer service while managing a fast-paced front office.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Verify patient insurance and demographic information
• Collect co-pays and process patient check-in/check-out
• Scan and upload medical records into the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of medical receptionist experience in a physician's office (required)
• Previous cardiology experience is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Experience with EMR systems and basic computer skills
• Knowledge of insurance verification and medical office procedures
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
