Business Development Manager (Oncology) Northeast Region

Merit Medical seeks a Business Development Manager for its oncology division covering the Northeast region. The role involves identifying and closing business deals, presenting medical devices to healthcare facilities, and maintaining client relationships to drive sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and partner outreach
- Present and demonstrate oncology products to new and existing hospital and clinic accounts
- Prepare customized drawings, pricing contracts, and negotiate terms with clients
- Maintain regular client contact to monitor satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities
- Resolve delivery or product issues and coordinate with internal teams on order fulfillment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related education and experience
- Minimum five years direct medical device sales experience
- Strong oral presentation skills and ability to communicate with clinical staff
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, and database software
- Excellent driving record with no accidents in past three years
- Ability to travel extensively and work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of medical equipment usage and capacity to identify improvements
