Advanced Meter Infrastructure Scrum Master
The Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) program is a transformational initiative deploying the next generation of intelligent meters on the power grid. This will serve as a foundation for other initiatives including clean energy, grid resilience, and power quality optimization. The role is to serve as a scrum master for two teams - billing and meter field operations.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
- Experience coaching agile teams as a Scrum Master.
- Experience in the utility sector is a plus; ideally in billing, device management, or customer service.
- Experience in tool improvement and tool integrations (JIRA experience is a plus).
- Has managed scrum teams (or squads) as part of a larger enterprise multi-team initiative.
- Proven knowledge of Agile software development process and practices.
- Proven success at helping teams adopt and apply agile/lean principles and practices.
- Experience in SDLC in Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall, through knowledge of Agile Transformation process.
- Scrum Master Certification is strongly desired.
Main Interfaces:
- The program uses a Product Operating Model.
- With US Business Team to deliver business value through systems implementations.
- With internal and external development resources to design and develop business solutions.
- With the program team for the operation of the governance process and visibility into project and development process.
- With Project/Product managers and other scrum masters to manage issues and dependencies.
- With System Architects to design and deliver architectural enabling product features.
- With Product Strategy teams and internal customers to get the necessary process capture for operation readiness.
Required Skills:
- Experience coaching agile teams as a Scrum Master.
