SENIOR PRICING ANALYST  

POSITION SUMMARY  

The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for driving pricing strategies that maximize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness across the fleet rental portfolio. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Leadership to deliver data-driven pricing recommendations, support contract negotiations, optimize customer profitability, and strengthen pricing governance. This role combines strong analytical expertise with commercial acumen and a passion for using data to influence business decisions and profitable growth. 

LOCATION  

• Hybrid in Fort Wayne, IN

RESPONSIBILITIES  

Pricing Strategy & Revenue Optimization  

• Develop pricing recommendations for new business, renewals, strategic accounts, and pricing initiatives. 
• Analyze pricing performance, rate realization, fleet utilization, revenue, margin, and customer profitability trends. 
• Conduct Price-Volume-Mix (PVM), elasticity, and profitability analyses to identify revenue and margin improvement opportunities. 
• Support pricing strategy development based on market conditions, competitive intelligence, customer segmentation, and fleet dynamics. 
• Drive initiatives that improve rental rates, revenue per available truck (RevPAT), and overall portfolio profitability. 

Pricing Governance & Business Partnership  

• Support pricing governance and Delegation of Authority (DOA) processes, ensuring compliance with pricing policies and discount guardrails. 
• Prepare pricing recommendations, business cases, and executive-level analyses for leadership review. 
• Partner with Sales and Operations to balance customer retention, growth, and profitability objectives. 
• Monitor pricing exceptions and identify opportunities to improve pricing discipline and execution. 

Analytics & Process Improvement  

• Develop and maintain pricing dashboards, KPI reporting, and actionable business insights. 
• Track key metrics including rate realization, contribution margin, utilization, customer profitability, and revenue growth. 
• Lead ad hoc analyses supporting strategic decision-making and pricing initiatives. 
• Improve pricing tools, models, reporting automation, and data quality processes. 

MUST HAVE  

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field. 
• 5+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, financial analysis, business analytics, or commercial finance. 
• Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms for pricing.  
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. 
• Experience analyzing large data sets and translating insights into business recommendations. 
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. 
• Attention to detail and executive communication. 

NICE TO HAVE  

• Experience in fleet rental, transportation, equipment rental, manufacturing, or industrial services. 
• Knowledge of pricing optimization, elasticity modeling, revenue management, and pricing governance. 
• Experience with Dynamics 365 or other ERP/CRM systems.
