The Commercial Underwriter will play a key role in evaluating and structuring commercial lending opportunities by underwriting moderately complex to complex loans while supporting the broader credit analysis function. In this role, you will collaborate across teams, apply advanced financial analysis to inform credit decisions, and help drive portfolio quality and performance. You will operate with a high degree of independence in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking, strong communication, and attention to detail are essential, ensuring timely insights, well-documented analysis, and full adherence to regulatory and internal policies.Essential Functions Include:Performs administrative duties as part of the credit analysis function of which the following are illustrative:Receives data on prospective and active borrowing accounts, i.e., financial statements, agency reports, and interview and investigation sheets.Analyzes data and evaluates the short- and long-run prospects of the individual, company, or real estate project.May make recommendations to appropriate personnel on the granting or denying of loans;
