This job posting is for an early career construction management professionals with approximately one year or less of industry work experience.

Position Summary

As a Project Coordinator, you will work together with a Project Manager/Engineer to facilitate the success of a project from start to finish while gaining experience with project management and communication skills. This position is the initial step in developing managerial and communication skills needed for a Project Management position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare job-site safety and accident prevention documents
• Coordinate and maintain project construction scheduling (Shop and Field)
• Procurement and expediting of material
• Shop drawing/submittal review and coordination
• Project cost review
• Project coordination with general contractor or Client
• Participation in project coordination meetings
• Prepare change order documentation
• Assist with material take offs

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Degree is required.
• General knowledge of construction principles/practices required.
• Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment required.
• Must be geographically mobile and able to relocate within the region.
• Demonstrated ability reading drawings and specifications.
• Computer proficient including Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest and passion for construction and the construction industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Computer proficient including Bluebeam and AutoCAD or Revit.
• OSHA 10 certification.
