This 13-week locum assignment offers a high-volume surgical environment with a diverse case mix-ideal for experienced CRNAs or travel nurse anesthetists seeking professional growth and adventure in a vibrant mountain community near the Grand Canyon.

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 16, 2026 - September 15, 2026)
• Location: Flagstaff, Arizona (86001) - Northern Arizona, gateway to the Grand Canyon
• Shifts: Day shifts, 5x12-hour (07:00 - 19:00)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,770 - $7,140 (competitive locum tenens CRNA pay)
• Setting: Hospital with 11 main ORs and 2 ambulatory ORs - high-acuity surgical center
• Patient Volume: 50-60 cases per day (high-volume anesthesia caseload)
• EMR: Cerner and SaAnesthesia (remote Cerner training provided prior to start)

• Board-certified or board-eligible Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Arizona CRNA license, or proof of application for Arizona licensure (AZ licensure required for locum tenens assignments)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Recent hospital anesthesia experience required; minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience in perioperative settings
• COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Completion of remote Cerner EMR training prior to start
• Preferred experience: ortho, trauma, spine, neuro, cath lab, ambulatory surgery, and endoscopy cases

• Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative and general anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical specialties
• Perform comprehensive preoperative assessments, intraoperative anesthesia management, airway management, and post-anesthesia care
• Provide anesthesia care for all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perioperative nurses, and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document anesthesia care, clinical notes, and perioperative assessments accurately in Cerner and SaAnesthesia EMR systems
• Participate in orientation, competency validation, and ongoing training required for locum tenens CRNA roles
