Responsibilities Assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate wiring and system setup Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation tasks Support the testing of electrical circuits using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment Follow all safety procedures related to low voltage and high voltage electrical work, including NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Help with the installation of low voltage systems such as alarms, data cabling, and security systems Participate in site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications Job is a 5-month contract Job is working on parking lot lighting upgrade Electrical duct bank MUST HAVE TWIC MUST HAVE TDLR Skills Basic understanding of electrical principles gained through coursework or prior experience Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment like ohmmeters Experience or interest in industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately Knowledge of NEC standards for electrical installations and safety protocols Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail during wiring and troubleshooting tasks Willingness to learn about high voltage systems, low voltage wiring, and construction site safety practices This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive pathway into the electrical trade—perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop practical skills while contributing to meaningful projects.
