Civil Concrete Carpenter Helper

As our Form Builder Setter Helper, you will support skilled carpenters and foremen by preparing, assembling, and staging formwork for civil construction projects while learning key trade skills on the job. Day‑to‑day, you will handle materials, assist with measurements and layout, cut and prep formwork components, and use basic tools and equipment under supervision. You’ll help stage materials by work area, support simple plan interpretation, and maintain a safe, organized jobsite. Experienced helpers may take on additional responsibilities such as assisting with layout, improving productivity, and continuing to build skills toward more advanced formwork roles. Successful team members in this role are reliable, safety‑focused, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic and team mindset. Your Skills Basic Tool Use & Equipment Handling Measurement, Math & Layout Support Material Prep & Staging Basic Blueprint & Plan Reading Safety Awareness & Hazard Recognition Teamwork & Communication Willingness to Learn & Grow Your Background Previous experience as a form builder, carpenter helper, or similar role on civil construction projects. Basic knowledge of tools, materials, and jobsite safety Ability to read measurements and perform basic math Strong reliability, teamwork, and communication Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding field environment.
