Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in inpatient care for a position located in Hilo, Hawaii. The role involves evaluating and re-evaluating residents and patients, planning, and implementing ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by attending physicians or consulting specialists. The candidate will provide consulting physical therapist services in a facility-focused environment.

Job Details:

• Position: Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient
• Location: Hilo, Hawaii
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, with options including Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, or Sunday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Shift Hours: 8 hours per day
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 months of work experience in acute inpatient, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings working with adults
  • Must have an active Hawaii state license by start of assignment
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as necessary based on hospital operations
  • Candidate must arrive the Thursday prior to start date to attend employee health appointment on Friday

Additional Information:

• Candidate must have primary Acute Inpatient experience with secondary coverage in Acute Rehabilitation and sub-acute ICF/SNF Rehabilitation
• Equipment utilized includes EMR - Meditech
• Please do not accept the start date if unable to attend the employee health appointment on time
