Operations Intern

About the Role Foresight is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Intern to support our Project Management and Field Operations teams. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field who are looking to gain real-world experience in commercial construction. The internship will be 15-25 hours per week. What You’ll Gain Hands‑on experience supporting active commercial construction projects Exposure to both project management and field operations Mentorship from experienced construction professionals Insight into scheduling, budgeting, coordination, and jobsite execution Potential for full‑time employment upon graduation Key Responsibilities Depending on focus area and experience level, responsibilities may include: Project Management Support Assist with document control and project administration Help manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders Support budgeting and cost tracking processes Assist with schedule updates and coordination meetings Communicate with trade partners and internal team members Field Operations Support Assist Superintendents with daily jobsite coordination Help track progress and quality control documentation Participate in safety walks and jobsite meetings Support punch list management and project closeout tasks Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field Junior or Senior preferred (strong Sophomores considered) Strong organizational and communication skills Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Who You Are You have a can‑do attitude You take ownership of your work You’re responsive and dependable You care about doing things with excellence This role is primarily office‑based but includes opportunities for jobsite visits.
