Server
Bella Café & Grille at Hamburg is now hiring experienced servers & trainers with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service. LUNCH & WEEKEND availability is a plus!
Restaurant Server Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and sitting guests promptly
- Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
- Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant wine stock
- Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
- Assisting with the cleaning of tables, clearing plates and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant while following sanitation procedures
- Promptly greet guests, take orders, and accurately enter information into our POS system
Restaurant Server Skills
- 1+ years’ Server experience preferred
- Wine knowledge preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Having a good sense of urgency is required
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge
- Working knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems
- High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods
- Strong customer service skills required
- Valid Fayette County Food Handler's Card
- Valid STAR certification in Kentucky
