# Construction Crewman - Tower TeamApply: Springtown, TX: Full time: Posted Yesterday: JR100636**Company Overview**We are a Hudson Oaks, Texas-based Internet Service Provider (ISP) delivering High Speed Internet and Voice Services throughout multiple states to residential, business, K-12 Education and government customers. We believe there is much more to an internet company than just delivering cost-effective internet solutions; we believe in delivering an overall customer experience that our competitors simply cannot match.The applicant will have the knowledge, skills and ability to successfully layout a site and install tower foundations, ability to tie and place rebar cages, install equipment shelter foundations, finish exposed concrete and tower road constructions.**6 Month Pay Increases for next 2 YEARS!!****Essential Functions***Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.** Responsible for company provided vehicle, trailer, tools, equipment and supplies* Excavating, forming, and pouring tower foundation spread footings* Forming footings, walls, and slabs* Tie rebar mats, and cages* Trenching and installing PVC conduit and ground rings* Fencing of foundation perimeters* Other duties as assigned**Skills:*** Ability to lift/pull heavy equipment* Good organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written* Comfortable working outdoors in the elements while working with a great team* Ability to climb extended heights is a plus but not required* Must pass a drug screening test and a criminal background check.* Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe/acceptable driving record in compliance with company policy**Education and Experience:*** High school diploma or GED equivalent required.* Experience with basic hand tools**Work Environment/Hazards:*** Working in outdoor elements such as cold, hot, precipitation and wind* In proximity of heavy machinery and moving vehicles* Moderate noise level* Use of PPE* Working in elevated places such as towers**Physical Demands:*** Frequently moving, transporting, positioning objects of at least 60 pounds or more* Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms* Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, sit, and climb ladders and communication towers and work in an elevated position* Frequently required to use hand and power tools**Working Hours/Days:*** Min 40 hours, flexible* Overtime as needed**Travel Requirements:*** 75% travel required* Some overnight will be required**Affirmative Action (AAP/EEO Statement):**Nextlink is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
