Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests-ranging from chemistry and hematology to immunology and beyond-while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes for accuracy, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen acquisition and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Meticulously document all laboratory processes, mentor new staff members or students, and support the maintenance of quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree along with ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certification Details

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
