We are seeking an expert in capital project procurement to drive end-to-end CAPEX strategies across global infrastructure investments valued up to $500M. Located at a primary manufacturing facility in Norwood, MA, this hybrid role places you at the center of ambitious site expansion, driving value across major equipment and professional services.

responsibilities:

• Lead procurement across large and mid-scale greenfield and brownfield CAPEX projects to ensure optimal Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Serve as the primary Global Procurement liaison for site leadership, aligning sourcing with core operational goals.
• Execute category strategies for equipment and professional services, including Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, and CQV.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and manage supplier performance throughout complex project lifecycles.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement proactive mitigation plans.
• Leverage modern digital tools, contract automation, and market analytics to maximize efficiency.

 
qualifications:
Required:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 8 years of professional procurement experience, with 2+ years in biopharmaceutical manufacturing categories (e.g., direct materials, capital equipment, facilities support)
• 2+ years of dedicated category management experience
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• Professional procurement certification (CPSM, MCIPS)
• Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings in a matrixed biotech environment
