Neuro Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider

Advanced Practice Provider – Neurology Exceed Medical is recruiting a Neuro Intensivist Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP). The APP will be a certified, licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant who independently and collaboratively works with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and/or medically complex patients in the neuro‑intensive care unit. Job Summary The multidisciplinary team includes dedicated EEG services, inpatient neurology consultants, and fellowship trained neuro‑intensivist physicians who collaborate with neurosurgery and neuro‑interventional teams. Job Responsibilities The APP will provide bedside clinical care, manage acute neuro‑critical conditions, and participate in patient rounds, consultations, and multidisciplinary discussions. Job Requirements Board certified and licensed Adult‑Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant/Associate. National Provider Identifier (NPI) prior to employment start date and meets current Medicare billing requirements. State issued DEA registration for schedules 2‑5 and prescribing authority. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Neuro‑Life Support (ENLS) certifications. Preferred experience of at least one year in neuro‑critical care as an NP or PA, or neuro‑ICU experience as an RN. Job Details Night shift. Some weekend nights required. On‑call shifts required.
