This position involves performing routine patient care, evaluation, and treatment for medically complex patients, including those with transplant and oncology conditions. The Occupational Therapist collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring functional capacity and promoting independence in daily activities. Job Details Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy curriculum with either a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree. 3 years of relevant experience required. Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours daily, minimum of 40 hours per week. Additional information: The role requires strong inpatient acute care experience, preferably with exposure to transplant patients and oncology. Experience working with medically complex patients in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable. Responsibilities include assessing and treating patients within the scope of practice, developing individualized treatment plans, evaluating impairments, recommending and fabricating assistive and supportive devices, and ensuring timely documentation and discharge planning. The candidate must possess knowledge of evaluation and treatment methodologies, legal and ethical considerations, and possess effective communication skills. Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS).
