Production Control Specialist

Production Line SpecialistThe Production Line Specialist is responsible for food manufacturing and processing in an assembly line. Job duties include:Operating the station on a food production line and producing food products within specifications as required on the daily scheduleProducing food products within the specified quality requirementsFollowing and promoting Food Safety and practicing and enforcing all GMPs and appropriate food defense techniquesMonitoring products as they are produced to ensure high quality and that product meets all specificationsPerforming duties in a safe manner and complying with all regulations and company policiesCleaning and sanitizing the production area in the facilityInforming supervisor and/or manager of any equipment malfunctions or other production issues as they ariseBeing flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays upon occasionOther duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum high school diploma or equivalent1 year or less of applicable job experienceAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsKnowledge of manufacturing procedures and operations preferredExperience and desire to support a culture built on collaboration, sharing of ideas, and celebration of successes as well as drive for positive outcomes with cross-functional teamsShifts: 2nd - 3:30- midnight - working until 2am during mandatory OT Currently working mandatory OT with a start time of 5amNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
