LCB Senior Living Taps Shaw as Director of Learning

NORWOOD, MA — LCB Senior Living has appointed Kelly Shaw Director of Learning, according to a press release. In this newly created role, she will create and cultivate LCB’s associate training program, while also encouraging growth opportunities and learning support to all. Shaw will be the process owner for increasing learning productivity, teaching new skills, elevating current training platforms, and increasing knowledge of LCB’s associates for better outcomes for its residents and the business. As a former senior content developer and instructional designer at Sunrise Senior Living, Shaw has over 20 years of senior living experience. In addition, she is a Mental Health First Aid Responder (Adult) for the National Council for Mental Wellbeing and a Certified Validation Worker for Validation Training Institute. She was also an accomplished journalist who wrote award-winning news for both Salem News and Finger Lake Times. Norwood, Massachusetts-based LCB Senior Living, which was founded in 2011, owns and/or operates 35 senior living communities throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic, with additional properties in development. The company offers independent- and assisted-living services to approximately 3,000 seniors, along with its Reflections Memory Care program for those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
