Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical technologist duties across a variety of surgical specialties including Trauma, Neuro, and Ortho cases
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 0645–1915
• Fulfill call requirements, including two to three 12-hour call shifts per six-week schedule on Saturdays and Sundays (0700–1900 or 1900–0700)
• Assist with holiday call coverage when holidays fall on weekdays
• Participate in one "asterisk" call shift per week, with the expectation of availability to stay up to 2 hours past the normal shift end to cover cases running late; those additional hours are compensated as on-call time

Required Qualifications

• Certification through NBSTSA or NCCT required
• BLS certification required
• Experience in Trauma, Neuro, and Ortho surgical specialties required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a broad range of surgical procedures and service lines
• Ability to adapt to varying call schedules and extended shift coverage needs
