Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12 Hour Nights

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- 2+ years of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
- Active Illinois license
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- American Heart Association ACLS certification (required within 30 days of start)
- Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status, utilizing age-specific data.
- Perform ongoing assessments and complete required documentation within organizational standards.
- Document observations, physical examinations, laboratory/test results, and patient responses to procedural interventions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care planning to identify and clarify patient needs, aiming for optimal outcomes.
- Assist other staff in the delivery of patient care, as appropriate.
- Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning to promote optimal patient outcomes.
