Job Description – Operations Specialist

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 15–20 hours
Resume & Interview: Required

Job Summary

Provides clerical and administrative support to department managers and assists with daily operations, data entry, reporting, scheduling, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide general clerical and administrative support.
• Create, distribute, and close customer service tickets.
• Maintain and distribute department information.
• Prepare and maintain reports.
• Assist with scheduling and employee work assignments.
• Communicate with supervisors, managers, employees, and customers regarding operational and service issues.
• Use software systems to manage procurement, timekeeping, safety incidents, and contract labor.
• Assist with data collection and reporting.
• Assist with payment processing and other financial tasks.
• Enter and maintain operational data as needed.
• Assist with operational projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of previous experience preferred.
• Basic computer and administrative skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• No certifications or licenses required.

Work Environment

• Primarily an office setting.
• Regular use of a computer and keyboard.
• Occasional lifting of items weighing less than 30 pounds.
• Occasional exposure to noise, odors, dirt, weather extremes, or other workplace conditions.
