As a Technical Recruiter , you will play a critical role in building Kontakt.io ’s Engineering organization, owning the full recruiting lifecycle for high-impact technical hires.

You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and Engineering leaders to understand our technical needs, develop targeted recruiting strategies, identify and engage exceptional talent, and manage candidates from first outreach through offer and close.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced technical recruiter who genuinely understands the Software Engineering talent landscape, knows how to find and engage hard-to-reach candidates, and has successfully managed full-cycle recruiting within organizations with a highly selective technical hiring bar.

While your primary focus will be Engineering, you’ll also have the opportunity to flex across the organization and occasionally support Commercial and G&A hiring as business needs evolve.

What You’ll Do

• Own the end-to-end recruiting process for Engineering roles, from intake and sourcing through interviews, offer, negotiation, and close.

• Partner closely with hiring managers and Engineering leaders to define role requirements, develop recruiting strategies, and establish what exceptional talent looks like for each search.

• Proactively identify, engage, and screen high-quality passive Engineering candidates and manage them throughout the full interview process.

• Conduct thoughtful, credible candidate screens that assess experience, technical environment, career trajectory, motivations, and overall alignment with Kontakt.io .

• Partner with interviewers and hiring managers to calibrate on the technical bar, facilitate interview debriefs, and drive timely hiring decisions.

• Own candidate communication throughout the process, ensuring a high-touch and highly organized experience from initial outreach through close.

• Develop offer strategies and lead offer conversations and negotiations in partnership with hiring managers and leadership.

• Build targeted talent maps and sourcing pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, technical communities, referrals, and other creative sourcing channels.

• Research companies and technical environments to identify engineers who align with Kontakt.io ’s technical bar, and craft personalized outreach that effectively communicates our mission and opportunity.

• Build strong, trusted relationships with hiring managers and serve as a strategic recruiting partner, providing market insights, pipeline updates, and recommendations throughout each search.

• Occasionally flex beyond Engineering to support select Commercial and G&A searches as business needs require.

• Maintain organized candidate pipelines within our ATS and track key recruiting metrics, including response rates, pipeline conversion, time-to-fill, and offer acceptance.

• Continuously evaluate recruiting strategies and use data and market feedback to improve search effectiveness.

• Deliver a strong, high-touch candidate experience from first contact through offer and close.

What You’ll Bring

• 5–7 years of recruiting experience, with significant hands-on experience recruiting Software Engineering and technical talent.

• Demonstrated experience owning full-cycle technical recruiting , from hiring manager intake and sourcing through interviewing, offer negotiation, and close.

• Proven success identifying, engaging, and closing highly sought-after passive Engineering candidates in competitive talent markets.

• Experience working within or recruiting for organizations known for a strong technical hiring bar and highly selective Engineering teams.

• Strong understanding of Engineering profiles and the ability to evaluate candidates based on technical environment, experience, scope, impact, and career trajectory.

• Experience recruiting across areas such as Frontend, Backend, Full Stack, Infrastructure/Cloud, Data, AI/ML, and other Engineering disciplines.

• Strong hiring manager partnership skills, with the ability to effectively manage searches, provide market intelligence, calibrate on talent, and influence hiring decisions.

• Ability to adapt recruiting strategies across different talent profiles, with the flexibility to occasionally support Commercial and G&A searches while maintaining a primary focus on Engineering.

• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, talent mapping, and creative approaches to passive candidate identification.

• Ability to research and identify companies and Engineering organizations that produce high-caliber technical talent.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to run compelling, credible candidate conversations and create personalized outreach.

• Highly organized and comfortable independently managing multiple searches and candidate pipelines simultaneously from kickoff through close.

• Proactive, persistent, and creative approach to finding, engaging, and closing difficult-to-reach candidates.

• Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on candidate quality, pipeline conversion, time-to-fill, and successful closes.

• Built for collaboration - our team works a hybrid schedule of 3 days/week minimum from our New York City office.

• Compensation: $100,000–$150,000 base salary. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
