MLR is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to become an integral part of our surgical team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, ensuring surgical instruments and supplies are organized and readily available, and providing vital support to the surgical team during procedures.

Certified Surgical Technologist Requirements

• Associate's degree in Applied Science Surgical Technology from an accepted accredited program
• Indiana License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Surgical Technology Certification with 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Certified Surgical Technologist Job Description

• The surgical technologist is an integral part of the Surgical Services team, working under the guidance of the registered nurse and collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other staff to provide comprehensive patient care. This role involves taking on essential responsibilities before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Our Operating Room is home to 12 + 1 rooms conducting over 7,000 surgeries per year. From bariatric to gynecology to orthopedic to cardiovascular procedures, our surgical team is focused on creating a comfortable and positive experience for our patients and their families.
