Wound Care and Ostomy Nurse

The position requires a clinician who specializes in the assessment, treatment, and management of complex wounds and ostomies. The nurse will accurately assess, measure, and classify wounds and implement appropriate treatments. Patient education will be provided in an inpatient, acute care setting. Experience with electronic health records is preferred. This role operates Monday through Friday with no weekends, on-call duties, or holidays. The schedule consists of 8-hour days from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Minimum 2 years of current wound care/ostomy nursing experience

License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: BLS, Wound Ostomy Continence Certification (WOCN) Must-Have: - Experience with all types of surgical and traumatic wounds - Ostomy care experience - Ability to perform dressing changes, wound vac management, and related skin condition treatments
