Forklift Operator (Weekend Nights)

Forklift Operator/Material HandlerReporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Forklift Operator/Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that product is moved within our warehouse in a safe and efficient manner by forklift operation and physically loading/unloading our trucks. You are also responsible for proper inventory being maintained, and good housekeeping and warehouse standards being upheld.Areas That Play To Your StrengthsAll the responsibilities we'll trust you with:Safely operate a forklift to move finished products to the warehouse or onto trucks for distribution to customersComplete pre-trip inspections and maintain energy source for liftOperate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and complete basic maintenance on palletizing equipmentEnsure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.Perform safety inspections and audits as requiredMaintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and proceduresUse scanning equipment to ensure accurate tracking of inventory within the facilityFollow standard work policies and proceduresWork as a team with other forklift drivers to prevent line stoppages and improve operationsYour Areas Of Knowledge And ExpertiseThat matter most for this role:Must be at least 18 years of ageForklift operations experience is a mustAbility to regularly lift, move, and place up to 25 pounds of inventory as needed.Experience working in a warehouse environment a plusEnglish; additional languages an advantageTravel 0-10%PermanentBenefits eligibleShift Rotation- Weekend Days: Week 1: Friday – Sunday 5pm – 5am Week 2: Thursday – Sunday 5pm – 5am COMPENSATION $20.00 per hour and $3.00 shift differential; 7% target quarterly bonus
