Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Shipping and Receiving Clerk with a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials and ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse.

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies to move stock and reorganize storage.
• Unload containers, pick orders, and manage UPS shipments.
• Pick materials in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Handle receipts and required documentation accurately.
• Assist in moving/lifting heavy equipment with assistance.

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs frequently.
• Experience in warehouse operations including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Proficiency in using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Strong self-motivation and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in an outdoor atmosphere throughout the year.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive attitude.
• Team player capable of assisting around the facility when needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yonkers, NY.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
