Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Saratoga Springs, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 5 x 8-hour shifts (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join a dynamic cardiovascular team in Saratoga Springs, New York. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care, maintaining a sterile environment, and operating specialized cardiovascular imaging equipment.

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placements, and other interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures by verifying patient information, positioning, and maintaining sterile technique.
• Set up and operate fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring systems, and other Cath Lab equipment.
• Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures.
• Administer and document procedural information accurately in accordance with facility protocols.
• Maintain Cath Lab equipment, inventory supplies, and ensure proper functionality of all equipment.
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and quality assurance standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe and efficient patient care.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations during cardiovascular procedures.

• Active New York State License (as applicable).
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification .
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVIS/Radiologic Technologist experience , preferably in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile techniques, and interventional procedures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.

• Previous experience in a high-volume Cath Lab.
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring systems and digital imaging equipment.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety practices.
