Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse - $2,667 per week (Hiring Immediately)

Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Bloomington, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Intermediate Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel HIGHLIGHTS: Must be able to read telemetries, must be comfortable with chest tubes ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Travel RN would work three 12-hour shifts with rotating nights, weekends, and holiday. Travel RN would be put into a holiday & weekend rotation. Travel RNs are first to float. Can go to ICU if they have extensive ICU experience, otherwise would go to Gen Med floors. The travel RN would take whatever assignment is required for that level of care. 3-4 patients/nurse Scrubs, any color Inpatient acute floor. Orientation will be one day with education team and 1 day floor orientation ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions (COPD, CHF, Diabetes, sepsis, renal, DKA, alcohol withdrawal, overdoses, pneumonia, other respiratory conditions, neuro/surgical/cardiac patients, Bipap, Cpap, trach s, chest tubes, NG tubes, PICC lines, central lines, ablation/cath lab patients, dialysis, etc.) EMR: EPIC, Pyxis medication dispensing 32 beds, all private rooms Cancellation Policy: 12 hours per 13 weeks Charting System: EPIC Trauma Level: Care Setting: Acute Division: Nursing Shift Notes: 12hr Nights Required Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS HIGHLIGHTS: Must be able to read telemetries, must be comfortable with chest tubes ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Travel RN would work three 12-hour shifts with rotating nights, weekends, and holiday.
