Ultrasound Technician

An experienced Ultrasound Technician is needed to provide high-quality imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient settings. This position requires a commitment to professional standards in a clinical environment, focusing on delivery of patient care through various ultrasound procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal, vascular, breast, and some obstetric ultrasounds.
• Conduct biophysical profiles, thoracentesis, and paracentesis as needed.
• Utilize GE ultrasound equipment and Epic software for patient documentation and record management.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all ultrasound examinations.
• Participate in continued education and training to enhance skill set and knowledge in ultrasound technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician.
• ARDMS certification required; must be included in the candidate profile at the time of submission.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with pediatric ultrasound imaging is necessary.

Schedule

The scheduled shifts are Monday through Thursday from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with the requirement to be on call during designated holidays including Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Attire

Professional scrubs of choice are required for this position.
