NP Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery locum position in Las Vegas, NV

Locum tenens opportunity for an experienced cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery Nurse Practitioner in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is based at an acute care hospital, and offers a chance to work closely with a high-performing cardiovascular and thoracic surgery team. Details:

Start Date: September 25, 2025
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Setting: Acute care hospital
Schedule: days per month
Availability: Prefer blocks of 2 3 months for team continuity
EMR: Cerner

Responsibilities:

First assist in complex CVT surgical procedures
Inpatient management including pre-, peri-, and postoperative care
Rotating 24-hour first call coverage for CVT service
Rounding, interdisciplinary coordination, and ER consults
Diagnostic test interpretation and medication management
Collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team
Must have full first assist capabilities for complex CVT procedures
CVT experience is required candidates without this background will not be considered

Requirements :

NV state license; active, unrestricted
Certifications- BLS, ACLS, DEA

Compensation:

Competitive market rate (based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs).
Malpractice insurance provided.
