Registered Dietitian

Role Overview Seeking a dedicated Dietitian responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing personalized dietary plans, and providing education on healthy eating habits. The role involves instructing patients on post-discharge diets, monitoring nutritional status, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal nutritional care. Key duties include evaluating referral orders, documenting in medical records, implementing and adjusting care plans, conducting calorie counts, and reviewing menus for nutritional adequacy. Qualifications & Skills Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. State licensure required. Bachelor’s or higher degree in Food & Nutrition from an accredited institution. Preferred: Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and one year of clinical dietetics experience. Key Attributes Strong communication and counseling skills.
