Supermarket Refrigeration Installers needed immediately for Place Services, Inc. headquartered in Canton, GA (Atlanta area). Travel to locations such as Nashville, Knoxville, Birmingham, Atlanta, Greenville SC, and Charlotte is required, with most work scheduled at night and occasional dayshift. What You’ll Do Execute the installation of refrigeration systems in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and local building codes Build and install pipe hangers, fit and braze copper pipe ensuring the proper installation of refrigerated cases in supermarkets Assemble, position, and mount refrigeration units, condensers, compressors, and other components Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards for refrigeration systems Follow proper disposal procedures for refrigerants and hazardous materials in accordance with environmental regulations Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation logs, service reports, and equipment specifications Document equipment inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks for reference and future analysis Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job progress, issues encountered, and solutions implemented Interact professionally with supermarket management and staff to understand their refrigeration needs and address any concerns Provide courteous and responsive customer service, resolving inquiries and requests in a timely manner Who You Are Experience as a Lead, Pipe Fitter, Case Setter, or Helper is encouraged. Apprenticeship opportunities are also available for those looking to learn a new trade.
