You will work under the supervision of medical technologists and pathologists to analyze specimens and provide accurate test results to healthcare providers.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Collect and analyze bodily fluids, tissues, and other substances for testing2. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment3. Conduct quality control checks on equipment and reagents4. Interpret and report test results accurately5. Maintain accurate records of tests performed6. Follow laboratory safety guidelines and protocols7. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely test results8. Stay up-to-date on new laboratory techniques and technologies9. Assist with training of new laboratory staff10. Participate in research projects and quality improvement initiativesQualifications and Skills:1. Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field2. Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team6. Knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols7. Experience with laboratory equipment and technology8. Strong problem-solving skills9. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks10.
