Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab Location Nashville, TN General Information Unit Name: Cath Lab Cost Center: 746/76200 Number of Procedure Rooms: 11 (5 cath, 4 EP, 2 hybrid OR) Patient Ratios: 1 patient to 3 staff Unit Staffing: Cath/EP Techs, Cath/EP RNs Type of Equipment: GE and Philips x-ray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR, Merge Hemo Documentation Systems: Merge Hemo and Meditech Scheduling Requirements: 4 x 10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Floating Policy: Only float to prep and recovery Qualifications Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years Required Skills: Monitor and circulate cath lab and/or EP procedures BLS and ACLS certification Preferred Skills: Cath Lab and/or EP Lab experience Certifications Required: RN license BLS ACLS Procedures Performed Cath Lab: Diagnostic PCI Rotoblator Laser atherectomies ECMO TAVR MitrClips Watchman IVUS FFR Complex PCI CTO Shockwave Pernumbra EP Lab: EP studies Pacemakers ICD Ablations (no cryo ablations) Micra pacemakers Loop recorders Lead extractions including laser lead extractions Dress Code Required uniform: Scrubs Awards and Recognition One of the top cardiac programs in Tennessee; a growing program offering all cardiac modalities except transplant.
