Medical Assistant - Clinic

Medical Assistant Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility in Mesquite, TX 75149. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Specific Duties: Assist physicians and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy and other patient care procedures Maintain established quality control standards Record and process patient care documentation quickly and accurately Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies Organize, stock and clean exam and treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Maintain quality control standards and required Medical Assistant and CPR certifications Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of preferred experience High school graduate or GED equivalent Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification Current CPR and / or BLS certification Requirements: Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills Knowledge of medical terminology required The ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies is required Good communication and customer service skills required At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding Bilingual (preferred) Additional Information: Location: Mesquite, TX 75149 Job Type: 3+ months contract to hire Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am 5 pm Office Hours: 8 am 5 pm Pay Range: $20-$23/hr. on W2 Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
