Account Review Specialist

Title: Account Setup Coordinator / Account Review Specialist Duration: 6-Month Contract Pay: $17-$19/hr on W2 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Parking: Free onsite parking available We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Account Setup Coordinator / Account Review Specialist to support account implementation, account reviews, and customer onboarding activities in a fast-paced operational environment. This role requires strong communication skills, accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Review and process customer account information with a high level of accuracy Coordinate with internal departments to ensure successful setup and implementation of products and services Serve as a primary point of contact for account-related inquiries and issue resolution Communicate with merchants/customers to resolve missing, incomplete, or conflicting documentation Conduct outbound calls professionally and confidently to support account remediation activities Maintain detailed, audit-ready documentation of all actions, decisions, and outcomes Research account issues, ask clarifying questions, and elevate concerns when appropriate Manage multiple systems, tools, and tasks while meeting deadlines and compliance expectations Ensure all work is completed according to established policies, procedures, and quality standards What We’re Looking For Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable making outbound calls and interacting professionally with customers Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned cases Adaptability in a changing environment with evolving processes and priorities Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer navigation Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in account setup, customer service, operations, compliance, banking support, or administrative coordination Experience handling documentation, data entry, or account reviews AML or compliance exposure is a plus, but not required Professional and respectful in all interactions Quality-focused and compliance-mindedStrong sense of accountability and ownership Comfortable collaborating across teams Proactive communicator who asks questions rather than making assumptions This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience in financial operations, compliance support, and customer account coordination within a structured and team-oriented environment.
