Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role is responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective return to community activities. The therapist serves as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves while performing other professional duties associated with patient care and the development of therapy services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Complete medical record documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in the student program as assigned, providing supervision and evaluation.
• Create and pursue a personalized professional development plan in collaboration with clinical management.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Demonstrate awareness of organizational performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback for enhanced service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
