Our organization is in search of a full-time microsurgeon with academic fellowship training to become a part of our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. We offer academic leadership roles through our plastic surgery residency program, medical school, and various research opportunities. The Division features an integrated residency program that accommodates two residents annually and is actively engaged in the education of medical students and research initiatives. Required qualifications include an M.D. or D.O., completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery residency program, board eligibility or certification in plastic surgery, and the ability to secure the necessary medical licenses in New York State.
Position Overview/Responsibilities for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery - Microsurgeon Clinical DutiesMicrosurgery for breast reconstruction
Microvascular and general reconstruction for head and neck
Microvascular and general reconstruction for lower extremities
General reconstruction procedures
Participation in hand on-call duties is required
New York State Licensure as an MD or DO
Completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery Residency Program
Board Eligible or Certified in Plastic Surgery
DEA certification
A competitive base salary ranging from $432,539 to $570,276, determined by rank and experience, with additional incentive bonuses based on clinical and academic achievements.
