About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Internal Communications. The successful candidate will be a strategic and creative leader with a strong collaborative spirit, dedicated to enhancing the way the firm communicates internally. This role is pivotal in translating the company's strategy into clear and compelling messages that foster a sense of connection and help employees understand the organization's priorities. The AVP will work closely with executive and practice leaders, as well as various key stakeholders, to ensure that internal communications are in line with the company's culture and operating rhythm. Responsibilities include defining and evolving the internal communications strategy, maintaining an enterprise communications calendar, and developing messaging frameworks that support consistency across the organization. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 12-15 years' experience in internal or corporate communications, particularly within professional services, healthcare, or a complex matrixed organization. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in building or evolving internal communications functions and a strong ability to connect communications to business priorities and organizational culture. Excellent writing and editing skills are essential, as is the ability to coach leaders and influence across all levels of the organization.
