Your Future Team

DTA Accountants is a long‑standing tax and financial advisory firm based in Bellevue, Washington, delivering comprehensive services to businesses, individuals, trusts, and estates. With roots dating back to 2009, the firm has been serving clients for 17 years, building a respected reputation for individualized, unbiased financial and tax guidance supported by a skilled team with deep experience in accounting and strategic planning. In 2025, DTA Accountants joined Archer Lewis as part of the organization's expanding national network, becoming one of several established regional firms integrated into the Archer Lewis alternative practice structure. Through this partnership, DTA Accountants continues to provide its signature relationship‑driven, client‑focused service while gaining access to enhanced national resources, advanced tools, and expanded operational support across the Archer Lewis network.

 

What You'll Do

The Staff Accountant supports accounting and tax functions across a variety of client engagements while developing a strong technical foundation in financial reporting, tax compliance, and client service. This role works closely with senior team members to ensure accurate financial records, timely completion of accounting activities, and quality service delivery. The Staff Accountant is ideal for an early-career professional seeking broad exposure and professional growth within a public accounting environment.

• Prepare and post routine journal entries to the general ledger.  
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.  
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and related accounting activities.  
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.  
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.  
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules.  
• Assist with the preparation of individual, partnership, corporate, and other business tax returns.  
• Gather, organize, and validate financial data and documentation required for tax compliance activities.  
• Support tax research projects and compliance initiatives under the guidance of senior team members.  
• Assist with responses to tax notices, audit requests, and other regulatory inquiries.  
• Collaborate with Accountants and Senior Accountants on client engagements and special projects.  
• Communicate effectively with internal team members to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met.  
• Continue developing technical accounting and tax knowledge through hands-on experience, training, and professional development opportunities.  
• Support process improvement efforts and contribute to maintaining efficient workflows and high-quality client service

Compensation Range

$65,000—$75,000 USD
