Mechanical Design Engineer
Our client, a global leader in aerospace and advanced manufacturing, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of the Aerospace Engineering Department supporting cross-functional product development and design teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, collaboration skills, and innovative thinking which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Phoenix, AZ (111 South 34th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034, United States) Pay Range: $59/hr
What's the Job?
- Design and develop aerospace components and systems using NX CAD modeling
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Perform engineering analysis, including weight optimization and manufacturability
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and cost estimation
- Create and review technical drawings using ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical design using NX and Teamcenter
- Experience in engine or APU design
- Strong knowledge and application of ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) standards
- U.S. Citizenship (required)
