Benefits Competitive pay $47.00–$50.00 an hour, DOE 1:1 therapist‑to‑patient ratio Flexible assignments, autonomy, and work‑life balance Online training, growth, and CEU earning opportunities Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury Collaborate with the home health team (RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, PT, SLP) Assess patients, observe deficits, establish therapy goals, and document progress Assist patients with exercises to improve fine‑motor skills and coordination Suggest adaptive equipment like grab bars and shower chairs to support independence Assess fall risks and implement home safety strategies Educate patients and families on care plans, exercises, goals, and self‑care Qualifications Graduate of an accredited OT program and active OT license in South Carolina Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience, preferably in home healthcare CPR certification Valid car insurance Knowledge of state and federal home‑health regulations Maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date documentation Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, resourceful and compassionate Provide services in accordance with agency policies and regulations that define scope of practice Location North Charleston, SC – serving Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester Counties; primarily coverage in Berkeley County.
