Overview Assistant Professor – State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. The Dept. of Environmental Resources Engineering in Syracuse, NY seeks tenure-track candidates from underrepresented groups to support the geospatial graduate program and the undergraduate program. Preference will be given to candidates with at least one engineering degree and a strong scholarship record for their career stage. Responsibilities Contribute to the geospatial graduate program ( and the undergraduate program ( Engage in research, teaching, and service appropriate for a tenure-track position; participate in curriculum development and student mentorship. Advise graduate students, develop funded research, and collaborate with departmental and campus initiatives as appropriate. Qualifications Applicants from underrepresented groups in STEM are encouraged to apply. Preference for candidates with at least one engineering degree (at any level). A strong scholarship record aligned with career stage. Ability to contribute to both geospatial graduate and undergraduate programs.
