Our primary focus is on the definition and integration of combat systems and associated equipment to be installed on ships and land sites. We produce key engineering products used for the development, design, production, test, integration and technical configuration management of complex combat systems. The WorkDevelop and deliver Interface Block Diagrams (IBDs), Combat System Equipment Lists (CSEL), System Definitions, and Configuration Definition Documents (CDDs)Perform as responsible engineer for the development of PSIE products for programs supported by the SEMS Ship Integration Engineering departmentPerform technical reviews of Government Furnished Information (GFI) and other technical documentation with impact on PSIE engineering productsProvide engineering support as a PSIE responsible engineer for ship classes and land based sites as neededLead PSIE engineers, engineering planners and aides in the development and delivery of PSIE productsThis is a hybrid position with onsite requirements in our Mount Laurel, NJ sitePosition may require infrequent travel to domestic and international SI&T locationsThis position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance at the Secret LevelWho We AreWe are part of Lockheed Martin’s SEMS Ship Integration Engineering organization based in Mount Laurel, NJ. We offer opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and meaningful work that supports those who serve.Basic QualificationsBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent/related field.5 years of relevant engineering experienceExperience with developing engineering products specific to platforms Familiarity with system interface definition and analysisThis position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance at the Secret LevelDesired SkillsStrong analytical, problem solving, leadership skills and demonstrated ability to comprehend and work successfully with complex systems.Detailed and technical knowledge of the physical and functional characteristics of the Aegis Weapon System elementsDemonstrated ability with AutoCAD, DOORs, Visio.
